For each level and specialisation of GTP certification the candidate must demonstrate they meet the prescribed competency standards, based on their chosen specialisation and the GTP Programme rules.

In addition to demonstrating fulfilment of the competency standards, once a candidate has been approved they then must submit a Continuing Professional Development Plan.

Once this is approved by GTPA the candidate may be awarded certification.

GTPA’s competency standards are developed and reviewed by the GTPA International Technical and Advisory Committee (ITAC) which comprises appropriate domain specialist experts representing global organisations and interests in a balanced and ethical manner.
