The Manufacturing Excellence Taskforce Australia (META) and The Export Council of Australia (ECA) have established a Deregulation Hub, with the purpose of producing an Agenda for Action to inform Government on the streamlining of regulation that inhibits the ability of Australia manufacturers to compete internationally.  APEC research ranks Australia 3rd out of the 20 APEC economies examined in terms of the weight of the burden of regulation on its merchandise exports and imports.

As part of this process, ECA and META have commissioned ITS Global to conduct, on their behalf, a survey of the impact of regulation on the sector’s international competitiveness

Why Get Involved?

The results from completing this survey will be used to drive the agenda for Australia’s future in Global Trade:
• Share your experiences with offshore markets and the opportunities and barriers you have faced
• Help improve the government and industry services to support your international success
• Help the ECA inform decision making and Australia’s future trade agenda
• The results will be used to drive the agenda for future trade

Get Involved

Step 1: Jump online using the link below, and complete the survey (it should take between 15 and 20 minutes)
Step 2: The survey will be open from (WHEN TIL WHEN) and you will be able to go online and complete the survey at any time during this period
Step 3: Work through the survey online, following the prompts provided. THE survey should be completed by a person within the organisation with knowledge of the international business activities either current, past or aspiring.

The Export Council of Australia (ECA) is conducting the survey in conjunction with the University of Sydney and with the support of our partners, Austrade and the Export Finance & Insurance Corporation (EFIC).

The survey is an independent and confidential means for you to share your experiences in international trade. The findings will be communicated to key decision makers and government departments involved in international trade.
