Congratulations to Craig Weeks and Alisa DiCaprio appointed to the TFAC
The GTPA would like to congratulate Trade Finance and Supply Chain finance working committee members Alisa DiCaprio, Head, Trade and Supply Chain, R3, New York, NY and Craig Weeks, Independent Consultant, Weaverville, NC. Alisa and Craig were recently appointed to the Trade Finance Advisory Council (TFAC) in the United States.
Established in 2016, and re-chartered in August 2018, the TFAC serves as the principal advisory body to the Secretary of Commerce on matters relating to access to trade finance for U.S. exporters. TFAC members represent commercial banks and other financial services providers, industry associations, exporters and research institutions.
During its first two-year term, the TFAC provided detailed policy and technical recommendations to enhance private and official financing options for U.S. companies—and grew to become one of the premier platforms for government engagement with the private sector on trade finance.
