Supply Chain Program – Pathway to Global Trade Professional Certification

Impact and Capability Building
This program strengthens supply chain resilience by equipping institutions supporting SMEs, as well as SMEs themselves, with practical risk management and diversification strategies, while building institutional capacity to deliver training and advisory support.
Through a combination of shared learning, tailored streams, applied case studies, and immersive field experiences, participants gain hands-on skills in:
· Supply chain risk assessment and mitigation
· Trade policy analysis and strategic sourcing
· Diversification strategies for suppliers and markets
· Technology-enabled process improvements
· Government and industry engagement
The program fosters peer-to-peer collaboration and mentoring networks, ensuring knowledge transfer beyond training.
As part of the Supply Chain Program, graduates of the program are offered a structured pathway that goes beyond training—linking applied learning directly to internationally recognised certification acknowledging their applied competence, enabling lasting impact for their organisations and sectors.
Applied Knowledge Assessment & ISO Certification Following completion of the training program, participants will undertake an ISO-aligned Applied Knowledge Assessment. This assessment is designed to validate practical competencies in supply chain and global trade. Successful participants will become eligible to progress to the in-person immersion component, where knowledge is further tested and applied in real-world scenarios.
This milestone is more than an evaluation—it is the gateway to professional certification and global recognition.
What This Means for Supply Chain Participants Through this integrated pathway, those participants who graduate the program will receive:
· ISO-aligned certification in Supply Chain Management
· A Global Trade Passport, validating international trade capability
· Membership within a global network of trade and supply chain professionals
· A Specialist Passport in Trade Strategy, focused on competitive foresight and policy-level thinking
Why This Matters This initiative connects capability development directly to tangible outcomes:
· Recognition as a certified expert in global trade and supply chains
· Access to international networks, partnerships, and opportunities
· Enhanced credibility for leadership, advisory, and strategic roles
· Practical tools to influence trade policy, economic development, and business growth
Who This Is Designed For This pathway is ideal for professionals across government, industry, and advisory roles—particularly those involved in supply chain management, trade strategy, logistics, and economic development.
Looking Ahead The Supply Chain Program is not just a training program—it is a career acceleration platform. By linking applied learning with ISO certification and the GTP designation, participants are positioned to become trusted, globally recognised leaders in trade and supply chain excellence.
Further details on assessment timelines, immersion participation, and certification application processes will be shared with participants upon completion of the training phase.
